This is a reference list of twenty gynae companies operating in India, grouped by what they specialise in rather than ranked one to twenty. Rank order is close to useless for a distributor — the tenth company on a list may be the best fit for your territory and the second may be irrelevant. Grouping by specialisation answers the question you actually have.
For a conventional ranked list see our top 10 gynae PCD companies; for range depth specifically see top 5 gynae range companies.

ToggleFind the group that matches your prescriber base, not the company at the top. A distributor calling on IVF and fertility clinics needs a completely different supplier from one calling on general OPD gynaecologists in a district town, and a list that ranks them together is comparing things that do not compete.
Three notes on method. Companies are described using their own published claims, attributed rather than asserted. No company is called “WHO-GMP certified”, because that is not a valid claim — it is a manufacturing standard assessed against a facility, not a certificate a marketing company holds. And Halefem Gynae publishes this list, which you should factor in.
These supply across the whole gynaecology map and appoint district-level distributors on monopoly rights. The right starting point if your prescriber base is mixed.
1. Halefem Gynae (Edmund Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.) — over 200 formulations across six therapeutic series, including a male infertility series that most gynae ranges omit. ISO 9001:2015 certified company operating since 2015; products manufactured at WHO-GMP compliant units at Sai Road, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. One partner per district, in writing. Does not own its manufacturing, and says so.
2. Aconwell Pharma — Ambala, Haryana. Operates a dedicated gynaecology division, Womelis Pharma, rather than a gynae section within a general range.
3. Floriwa Labs — Panchkula, Haryana. Gynae-focused; its material describes WHO-GMP compliant manufacturing.
4. Watran Pharmaceuticals — publishes a gynae PCD franchise programme with a stated minimum investment and SKU count. Also the publisher of several widely circulated “top 10” lists in this sector, including ones ranking it first.
5. Femcorp Pharmaceuticals — positions on breadth across gynaecology and allied segments.
6. Gynae Lifesciences — gynaecology-only list; describes WHO-GMP compliant manufacturing and a monopoly structure.
Smaller lists, more depth in a defined area. Often the better choice when your prescriber base is concentrated.
7. Gynogen Pharma — Chandigarh. A gynaecology specialist rather than a general company with a gynae line.
8. Femista Healthcare — prenatal and postnatal focus, which maps to the antenatal side of a practice rather than the fertility side.
9. Femina Biotech — market-ready formulations at competitive positioning, per its own material.
10. Celogica Pharma — positions on ethical business practice in its published material.
Relevant when your prescribers lean towards supplementation rather than prescription-only formulations — common in antenatal-heavy practices.
11. WSL Healthcare — Chandigarh; supplement-weighted range.
12. Medmom Pharma — Panchkula; combined gynae and paediatric range, describing DCGI and WHO-GMP approvals in its own material. The paediatric overlap suits a distributor calling on the same hospitals.
These appear on most “top 10 gynae PCD” lists and are worth understanding correctly. They are significant companies in women’s health, but their business model is not district-level monopoly franchise. If you are looking for gynae PCD rights in your territory, this group is generally not where you will find them — which is precisely why padding a PCD list with these names wastes a distributor’s time.
13. Mankind Pharma — New Delhi. Broad affordable portfolio with wide market reach.
14. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries — Mumbai. India’s largest pharmaceutical company by revenue.
15. Cipla — Mumbai. Long-established women’s health presence.
16. Abbott India — Mumbai. Substantial women’s health and nutritional portfolio.
17. Emcure Pharmaceuticals — Pune. Recognised for its prenatal and iron supplement range.
18. Alkem Laboratories — Mumbai.
19. Torrent Pharmaceuticals — Ahmedabad.
20. Cadila Pharmaceuticals — Ahmedabad.
If you call on IVF and fertility clinics, prioritise progesterone format depth and ovulation induction coverage. Group A or B, and test the range against real prescriptions before committing.
If you call on general OPD gynaecologists in a district town, antenatal haematinics and calcium will be most of your volume. Group A or C. Check which iron salts are carried — doctors prescribe iron by salt, not by category, so a single-iron range gets substituted.
If you already distribute in another segment and are adding gynae, a full-range supplier in Group A keeps the number of relationships manageable.
Ask who manufactures the product, and ask for the WHO-GMP documentation of the actual unit with the address on it — then compare that address to the product carton. Get the territory in writing with named districts or pin codes, not a verbal promise of monopoly. Ask what happens to your stock if the agreement ends. And treat a published margin table as a warning rather than a selling point: a company printing exact trade prices is either quoting a number it will not honour or disclosing what its existing partners pay.
These and two more are covered in red flags when choosing a gynae PCD company.
If you hold a wholesale drug licence and GST registration, send your territory and prescriber profile and we will tell you whether the range fits — including if it does not.
For pharmaceutical distributors and franchise partners. Not medical advice and not product promotion to the public. Company details other than Halefem’s are drawn from each company’s own published material and are attributed as such, not independently verified.
Which companies make gynae products in India?
The market divides into large-cap manufacturers with women’s health portfolios, and smaller gynae-focused companies that appoint district-level distributors on monopoly rights. Most gynae PCD companies are marketing companies whose products are made at third-party WHO-GMP compliant units — which is normal, and worth confirming rather than assuming.
Are large pharma companies the same as gynae PCD companies?
No. Large-cap manufacturers operate through their own field forces and distribution networks rather than through district-level monopoly franchise. A distributor seeking gynae PCD rights in a territory is generally not shopping in the same market, which is why lists mixing the two are less useful than they look.
How do I choose between twenty gynae companies?
Start from your prescriber base rather than the list order. Fertility clinics need progesterone format depth and ovulation induction; general OPD practices need antenatal haematinics and calcium. Then test each shortlisted range against five real prescriptions from your own territory.
Do gynae companies manufacture their own products?
Most gynae PCD companies do not. They are marketing companies using third-party WHO-GMP compliant manufacturing units, which is standard practice and not a problem in itself. What matters is whether a company answers the question directly and can produce the documentation for the specific plant.
What is the difference between a gynae PCD company and a gynae range company?
A gynae PCD company appoints distributors on territory rights; a gynae range company supplies a complete gynaecology product line. Most are both, but the terms emphasise different things — one the commercial arrangement, the other the depth of the product list.
