What to have ready

The first conversation is short and specific. Having these to hand turns it into a real answer rather than a callback:

• Your district — the territory you want to work, not just the state. Monopoly rights are assigned district by district.
• Your drug licence number — mandatory before we can supply, particularly for the hormone, contraceptive and injectable range.
• Your GST registration — required in your own business name.
• Which doctors you already call on — antenatal OPDs, fertility clinics, nursing homes, general gynaecologists. This decides which of the six series belong in your opening order.

If you do not have a drug licence yet, we can still talk. We will tell you what is required and what the agreement will contain, but we do not file the licence on your behalf — and you should be cautious of any company that offers to.

What happens after you get in touch

1. Territory check. We check your district against the partners already appointed there. If it is taken, we will say so rather than appoint a second partner into the same market.
2. Range selection. We go through the current product list with you and build an opening range around the prescribing you can actually reach.
3. Documentation. Your products, territory and terms go into the agreement in writing.
4. First order. Invoiced ex-factory against advance payment, dispatched on receipt, with promotional input issued free against the order.

Requesting the product list

The complete list — brand, composition, packing and presentation for all 200-plus formulations — is issued on request and revised every April. Price list on request: trade terms are partner-specific and belong in a conversation rather than on a public page.

Common questions before you call

Do I need a drug licence to take a gynae PCD franchise?

Yes. A valid drug licence and GST registration in your own name are mandatory for the hormone, contraceptive and injectable products in the Halefem range.

Will I get monopoly rights in my district?

Yes. Halefem appoints one partner per district and will not appoint a second partner in your territory for the products you carry.

What is the minimum order to start?

It depends on your district and how many of the six series you carry initially. Most partners begin with one or two series relevant to the doctors they already call on. Tell us your district and we will suggest a realistic opening order.

How quickly will someone respond?
